Tombstone

How many people remember the old TV show... with the theme song...."Texas John Slaughter made em do what they oughter and if they didn't they died."  What a blast from the past...

Wyatt Earp's house.
We parked our rv just one block from Texas John Slaughter's house and if that wasn't interesting enough, it was for sale.   Seems like I could have found my dream retirement house right there, but alas, it was small, run down a little, a great historical site but.. who would come to John Slaughter's house when Wyatt Earp's house was just down the street?

Another big bad hombre...Why'dhe Burp?
Tour Guide or undertaker?

This guy robbed our trolley tour.
Gun fights were brewing on each corner

Whydhe Burp in the bar looking for more ammo

gosh... can he stay out of the saloons?
Ok at least he's at the old newspaper this time.

back at another bar??? Watch out for your liver !

At last some decent people comin into town.

and some not so decent people leaving town.

Almost everyone here died of lynching or gunshots, but not all.

It was a little dry here, but one of the most visited cemeteries.

on of my favorite sayings.... LOL

This guy and is wife in the next pic brought their horses from Nebraska to take a ride around Tombstone.

the little missus

The Bird Cage Theatre was named for the little bird cages that held the ladies.  Most would not describe what went on in the little cages.
Whydhe Burp and his trusty dog looking for a beer.

Hey! We were promised ice cream.  Where'd everybody go?
